The completion of this vital segment further enhances the network's coverages and capabilities. Together with the Singapore Segment, PEACE Cable System spans a remarkable 22,000 kilometers, significantly improving global internet connectivity and bolstering communication speeds and reliability.
Since December 2022, PEACE Cable has successfully activated routes among Pakistan, Egypt, France, and Kenya. So far, with outstanding performance, PEACE has already become the primary and stable connectivity provider in these regions. The Singapore Segment was initiated in 2022, based on insights into rapidly growing international traffic. Thanks to the dedication and commitment of all parties involved, the project smoothly progressed through marine survey, wet plant manufacturing, and cable installation. By July 2024, the construction of the wet plant was fully completed, and the final acceptance and testing were excellently conducted in August 2024. Today, with the 6,400-kilometer submarine cable connecting Singapore, PEACE network provides a more efficient and stable solution for internet connectivity between Asia, Africa, and Europe.
